NSD 4 today.  Was tempted to cheer myself up today with a cheeky chocolate from the shop then i thought no every penny counts.  Not even having a sarnie from the cafe tomorrow as we normally do on a friday at work would rather make one at home which i would enjoy more anyway.
If you dream it can you do it????????
  • Are you a mind reader I was only just saying the same to my friend at work yesterday.  🤣.
    Great minds, eh?!
Your OH can like it or lump it. Cook or starve.... I know which one I’d choose!
Well done on another NSD. Mine wasn’t, but the chocolate croissant for breakfast was heavenly (although not convinced it was worth the £1 spent!)

  • Friday was not an bad as we did a food shop and yesterday I brought a few christmas presents so that was not an NSD either.  Today will be an NSD so that makes 5 not got any plans today just put the chicken in for lunch and everything is out the freezer, was going to the shop them after a freezer dive realised I had broccoli in there.

  • Just wanted to wish you luck! It is doable, even on your own. You could always earn chocolate money doing surveys, they're pretty boring but it makes the whole situation a bit easier if you can still have chocolate outside of your budget. One survey could buy you a couple of multipacks ;)
    LBM balance (April 2020): £31852.73
    Current balance: £6500 (79.59%)
    Emergency Fund: £6000

I am a member of quite a few survey groups and I keep forgetting to do them so great idea.  I also just cashed out on my shop and scan £20 voucher for Xmas and £10 on shoppix to PayPal so that's 30 towards Xmas bits

NSD 6 yesterday.  Another bad day at work which will continue into today.  They are trying to play me off against my manager by making it seem like me and the supervisors have been talking about her behind her back.
So fed up of it can't afford to just leave and jobs  are not so easy to come by at the moment.  Mum on says just tell them but if you say something they twist it and you're always the bad guy.

  • Unfortunatetly no NSD since monday mainly due to stress and forgetting lunch for work.  Need to find a new stress release rather than chocolate. :)

Sorry ive been missing had a week of work and relaxed and got all my housework done.  NSD 1 today.  I was also getting a few christmas presents last week as well.  The phone call i have been dreading has come through my OH has got to go for test 19 to check if he can donate a kidney to his brother ( hew also has another brother and a sister who are being tested as well).  This needs to spur me on to save money as he wont be earning while off work they are introducing 4 weeks sick pay at his work next year but he could be off work longer and with covid  he would probably have to isolate for two weeks before.

  • No more NSDs.  But had great news Tuesday a PPI repayment is going through and i will be getting 439 back this was from a catalogue i had way back before 2003.  Going to use most of this and pay off some on a credit card.
