Credit score and letting referencing

Good morning all, thanks very much for your responses. I am soon to be in a position to fully settle one of my defaulted accounts, I am in an agreement with this account owner (collection agency) and am paying a small amount each month. If i settle this account, will it have a positive impact on my credit score or should I just keep paying my monthly amount?

Did you actually read any of the replies regarding your “score”?

Is it definitely the case they cannot see a full report? I’m about to go via Let Alliance and apparently since 2019 they’re able to see a full report.

It looks like they're focusing more heavily on open banking data too; which is good for people like OP; although their last post on this thread was in October. Wonder how they got on...
