So having never had a further reply from ECP to my request for my data back in October, I have heard nothing further until now. CST Law again with a very vague letter not saying much other than they are instructed to issue court proceedings without further notice. I have replied that the lack of info on this letter makes me question what it is regarding and whether it is spam. I presume they shall reply the same but with more details again. When does it stop!

1: You now complain to the ICO about ECP
2: CST are out of their depth and we currently have a judge in Oxford raising questions about them
3: CST must comply with the law (PAP) and send a letter before claim giving 30 days to respond and proof of their claim

Read all 30-odd pages of the CST Law group thread.  No link, it's around page 2 or 3 because people are posting on it this week.  Everyone gets the same letters and we have no time to look at them or give it a second thought because the advice is already done to death on the CST Group thread.  If people are getting letters saying court proceedings will be issued 'without further notice' then you know that can't happen and this is just a debt frightener, because the pre-action protocol for debt claims requires a proper LBC with a 30 day timeline for response allowed.

When does it stop! 

When people win in court or landowners cancel.

Yeah all great stuff on the CST thread. Just posting to update this thread as they had previously sent the LBC in October - I did as read and informed them I was seeking legal advice etc. Still nothing back from my request to ECP in October. They want more of my data over and above my V5 to prove I am me, I am not willing to disclose more data to them as they clearly cannot be trusted with it.

Is the V5C that for the 'offending' vehicle, and the address that ECP first wrote to you?  I'm sure it is, but just a quick check. 

If it is, I'd give ECP 7 days to respond fully, tell them that if they don't, you will immediately report them to the ICO. If they don't respond, or continue to prevaricate, carry out your threat.
