Our situation is different than most but I'm getting so impatient! Also need to be out of current house by 2nd Nov!! Gonna have to shut up business and move in with parents until we get into new house...if we get it that is!

Nothing from us yet- still with the underwriter. 

We were really hoping for some news last week. The stress is getting to me...

Update from today- our valuation will take place on Monday 16th. Broker states that we should have a decision by 20th. Fingers crossed!

Hi all, thought i'd share the timeline as I have been following others! Have applied directly with HSBC 65% LTV (complex application with foreign income).
06 Oct 2020 Given a Decision in Principle & soft credit check done

19 Oct 2020 Had appointment with MA from HSBC (3.5hrs!) - Application Submitted
20 Oct 2020 full credit check & Application under review
22 Oct 2020 Manual referral to UW and status still 'application under review'
28 Oct 2020 Contacted by Valuation company to book in a physical valuation
06 Nov 2020 Physical Valuation carried out

Application has was modified on the 8th & today but no status change from application under review. It is agonising waiting but fingers crossed - the issue is the searches which we instructed our solicitor to do on the 5th October and they're still not back (5 weeks and counting).

I've submitted a full application through a broker but was going to check and see when the credit checks take place.
Who are you all using to see when credit checks have taken place?

Nice. Im in a similar position. Had the valuation carried out on 3rd November. Valuation is all ok per the broker, just need them to approve the credit. Im hoping for something this week or the sellers might consider pulling out and delaying their move. I had submitted my initial application on the 3rd September but didnt get all docs to them until the 30th September.

We had the valuation done today and it must have been ok as we had our mortgage approved.

Nice. Still waiting on approval. Had more questions on Friday. All docs provided on the day. More queries today. All information provided promptly. The wait continues.....

Congrats Somerlouise! 
Anyone else have anymore news? Ours started being reviewed by underwriters 17/11 but has been manually referred everyday since then! It's been 1 month today since putting in our application
