Aldermore Timescale

Options
I don't know if there's already a related thread, I couldn't find one on here anyways. I'm just wondering if anyone has had a mortgage through Aldermore could enlighten us with their experience and timescales please.
Ours currently stands at:
17/9/20 DIP accepted instantly (no referral)
25/9/20 Offer Accepted on property
28/9/20 Full application went in. Soft Searches done on me and hubby. Hard credit search done on hubby. Paid valuation fee.
29/9/20 Signed DD mandate and declaration form
05/10/20 2nd soft search on hubby
We're going through a broker and she has recommended Aldermore as I have some late payments on a CC. No Defaults or CCJs. My score is poor, hubby score is excellent.

We have just submitted an application with Aldermore On Friday. Nervously waiting for news on what’s happening. I called my MA this morning just to get an update. If I get any news I will let you know.
  • oh good luck, we are still waiting?? im sure they will ask for recent payslips as we submitted on the 28th Sept and got paid on 1st October, they are on standby.  I can see it says 8 days on the website and we are on day 7. I'm so impatient. Keep me posted on how yours goes

So heard back yesterday that the application has been referred. Been told we should get yes / no within 24-48 hours. Not sure why this has happened. We’ve been upfront with all information. I have a excellent score, my partners credit file not so good some defaults & one pay day loan back in 2015. I’m a bag of nerves worrying about it all.

another update today - Aldermore now wanting clarification on expenditure. I declared 2 loans at application that are not on credit file but are on our statements. They wanted the balance of these. They also want me to confirm all my expenditure gas/electric shopping etc etc and provided this as well.  Still in the affordability scale for the mortgage.
