Hey everyone...
Hope someone can help.
I am on an 02 contract, (have been for years), and recently got my 18 month upgrade. I ordered a Nokia N95 which I have here but I have not opened the box because it is staring at me and making me feel guilty! I just keep thinking I should sell it in order to pay off part of my debts. Can I sell it? Is that legal? Would I need to unlock it?
I am quite happy to keep my bashed up old phone in order to get rid of some of my debts!
Many thanks for any advice...

where did you get it from?
if its over the phone or on the web you can return it and ask them to reduce your line rental instead of an upgrade?Yes Your Dukeiness

Yes, you can sell. You are already bound by another 18 months.
If you are going to sell, do so a.s.a.p. whilst the phone has a high value. It's currently a fairly new model and should fetch a reasonable price.

i always sell my phone when i get a contract, its a good way to make a little extra cash0

yeah sell it
make some money out of it,
although you shouldnt've taken the phone and instead got a cheaper contract.
also o2 contract phones are not locked so there is no need for you to unlock
you'd get good money for an unlocked n950 -
Although it is totally legal to sell it as it is part of your contract, if you default on payments during the term of your contract, O2 are with in their right to bar the phone and the network providers do do that.
So morally you are bound to ensure that all payments are met, so that the purchase of your phone doesn't end up with a paperwieght.0
