On Friday the 25th of September it was announced that the First Home Fund would be being brought forward from March 2021 to 2nd October (so a week from the announcement). My mortgage advisor was on holiday and we were waiting for him to come back to finalise whatever they do for the FHF and mortgage application (offer was already entered and accepted). But it was only today we found out that it was expired on Friday.
My feedback is simply that this was big enough news (a deadline being brought forward 6 months with only 1 weeks notice) that it should have been in the newsletter.

Oh well, back to renting for £650 per month rather than a £500 mortgage.
