Virgin Partial refund

After waiting over 90 days I finally got a partial refund from virgin I know a lot of people are waiting longer and I feel your pain, My problem is that Virgin have paid over £500 less as a refund than I actually paid I have been trying to talk to a person via phone e-mail and text with absolutely no response the refund was put into my account without an accompanying e-mail or anything to explain what is going on my frustration is growing the customer service from Virgin has been appalling and when this covid pandemic is all over cutomers will remember who treated them poorly any help would be appreciated

was the deposit £500? was it paid with the same form of payment as the balance?
