I was informed via a leaflet enclosed with my statement.

Not paid a penny in interest for many many years, and not paid any FX fees since I stopped travelling for work about 2.5 years ago (personal overseas spend always went on a fee free card). I don't know whether they're hoping I'll start again, have forgotten me, or are just feeling generous!0 -
Shame Capital One didn't preserve the 2% cashback on their old Aspire Elite card as well.
I do wonder if some of these have just slipped through the net... can't see any commercial reason for them continuing to pay these legacy rates... but fair play to anyone lucky enough to be in that position!0 -
I had the email today.
I'm already switching my current account from Nationwide. I guess I will be cancelling their CC too, after I get this year's cashback.
I've been mostly using Amex for cashback, but since the not everywhere takes it, and the rate drops, I'll switch to something else.0 -
This is devasting news for me, I was stoozing the hell out of this card and this was my only one I could do it with (revolut trick). Amex won't work for that, we need a debit or maestro with cashback again.0

After reading this thread I've now applied for a barclaycard. If anyone else has any other cards with cashback(that arent AMEX) do let me know
Will check out capital one now.

Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
Will have to see if Barclaycard works then, for some cards it doesn't count s a transaction but a cash advance....Nationwide was so so easy though, never mind. it was good whilst it lasted, and I have November to get some final returns0

Only 1 point (0.5p) per £4 spent elsewhere though, so only really worth it if you shop at Sainsbury’s.
I earn £20k and they gave me a £7.5k limit so seem pretty generous with their limits!0 -
John Lewis partnership card gives you 0.25% back and 1.25% back when spent at Waitrose or John Lewis they are in points though not cash0
