On the topic of radishes - YBE I think I remember the pic of seedlings on a paint pot lid, and thinking you'll have to transplant those quickly! Radishes need soil depth to grow, and also don't like being transplanted, being a root crop - try again in a pot with deep soil or direct in the ground, and as long as they get sufficient water they should work, fingers etc crossed... And Eeeny - radishes only go woody if they start to bolt (put up a flowering shoot) - though the odd few never seem to grow properly...should be 4-6 weeks before they're at eating size...

Those are the same kind of 'round' strawberries that Farway posted, and I THINK they're vesca(ns)... aka wood or wild strawberries.
One pot of mine have longer cone shaped fruit that I think means they're alpine... but they could be a cultivated variety of vesca. I'm not sure how you tell. One thing I just read says the difference is the fruit hiding under the leaves vs standing up/out, but I can't find that anywhere else/if that's a definite way to ID.
And the seedlings I've got, no idea - the packet says vescans but until they are bigger/have fruit I'm not sure there's a way to know if they'll take after my other one or yours/farways.
There's a couple more pics on my thread from Farway and me if any of the people good at plant identification care to have a look

That's what the politicos had for their 'working' lunches, if I recall correctly.

Can anyone ID it for me please? It has a yellow flash on top of it's headI have eliminated penguin, flamingo, owl and pterodactyl and that is the extent of my bird knowledgePS it has a mate just turned up, two of them now, much more of this, and I'll need a safari jacketEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens5

It has the stance of a Robin, but I'm going with immature Goldfinch, Farway.
