That's a whopper F! 🙀. Be interested to know how it tastes?
D, great pics. That ram's gonna be busy me thinks. You might need to censor future pics! 😹
Welcome CaE, exciting having a new home/garden, not sure marrying an Englishman is... lol (exciting that is). Look forward to hearing about your choices of plants, progress with the garden etc 👍
Evening C and A, just saying hiya 😸Just my opinion, no offence 🐈3 -

Darn you Dave, I've always wanted to get a decent rainbow pic, and failed. By the time I've faffed about they've goneBC2 the whopper Golden Delicious tasted OK, on a par with a supermarket one, but I do know HG ones are far better, I think I was impatient and should have left it to ripen up more indoors. Note to self for 2021Rain overnight but cleared now, with sun out.First frost is forecast tonight, if so it's clear up dahlias / nasturtiums time over the next few weeksWith lock down arriving I had my last visit to the volunteer border, just checkingThe bird bath has been tilted, presumably backed into by a car, and the last sunflower seed heads we were leaving on for the birds have been pinchedNot expected unfortunately, which is why the choice of plants / shrubs was cheap & toughNo one picked these thoughEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

D does seem to take exceptional photos, great to brighten any day! I think he's a secret pro-photographer... have you thought about entering a pic into the yearly Countryfile Calendar competition D? Would love to see how far you get, maybe all the way 👍
Hope you've had a great M5 journey C, weather has been pretty dry today 😸
Another lovely photo F. Shame there are toerags out there that will literally steal anything. Must make you a little apprehensive going there when you don't know what to expect? Your golden delicious did look like it did what it said on the tin... Golden and delicious... Well on a par with the supermarket anyway!Just my opinion, no offence 🐈2 -
I have to admit rainbow pictures are easier to come by here than anywhere else I've lived, along with dramatic sunsets and occasional military aircraft - missed a helicopter that was below our bungalow today
I'm no pro photographer and most shots are done on 'auto,' either on my tough bridge camera or my point 'n shoot, which travels better.
I used to have better cameras, but they weren't happy on the smallholding, filled up with dust and stopped working.... which got expensive.Living here, surrounded by beauty, it's easy to get good shots. I do enter the Village Show competition and sometimes get a 1st, but never for the photos I think are my better ones. Here's one that didn't win anything, but I liked it, especially as I didn't need to leave the kitchen to take it8 -
Love it D! 👍Just my opinion, no offence 🐈2

That photo would get a 1st from me D, I find photos are so subjective, bit like garden plants really, so all we can do is take / grow what appeals to usFirst frost this bright & sunny morning, not a hard one, enough to show on grass & carsPS, this was with my 'phoneEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens2

Farway, that is such an unusual Picture - maybe it would be good to use in a quizz game
