Hope you get your limbs functional again 2p. Resting isn't always the best policy, but it is today with all the heat.😩

We waved goodbye to the elderly visitors around 14.00, cleared the dishes, and headed for the cool bedrooms on the north side of the bungalow to doze for a few hours. The children are at the beach with younger family members, so it's been bliss.😴 Hopefully, they'll be worn out too by now! 😉

Bluey: I thought your gc's table held fancy desserts too Dusty…. 😟 Was a good time had by all? Fine head of hair on the little lad eh, not unlike the rev…

The hair goes soon.😮 Remember, he's half Indian, so it will be shaved-off in the Hindu Mundan ceremony, to rid him of any accumulated spiritual contamination from past lives. But, it'll soon grow back again.😀 Our Indian relatives always have a good time at gatherings. Yesterday was mainly relaxed chatting and feasting, without loud music or dancing, because there was much social catching-up to do. Besides, neighbours were also enjoying their gardens. Most of our family are from urban areas, so they appreciate rural peace and quiet. For the Indian side, it's like 'back home' in Gujarat.

By heck, you see many hidden sides of life at the legal/emotional interface, Bluey! 😲 I think you deserve PTSD bonus money. Once people open up, they can sweep you along in a tsunami of their troubles, but just or not, you can't change the law for them. Difficult! 😕

It's still too hot to go out and water again……With 3 hotter days predicted, I'll have to re-think my routines. Weeding at 06.00 anyone? 🤥

Not so very hot here. Sat out to try and brown my legs before they are wrapped in support socks 🙄

I did something on Friday and been in pain even laying down so tried moving. It didn't help.

Have managed to water the front pots but couldn't use my trolley. I've managed to loose the key to the side gate 😬 . I also managed to loose the pot for one of my orchids when I watered it. How!!! Moved from one room to another.

I think the Borrowers have taken up home in my house.

That's a nice tradition with the hair Dusty. Do you think he'll cry? Children are funny like that.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
