Farway: I loved Sherry baby, probably because I link it to my time spent too long in the Portsmouth NAAFI club 😁Oh, and what about Needles & Pinza? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3aLTl1pa9c

I liked Needles & Pins, although my tastes at that time were more attuned to the Who and the Kinks, whose lyrics spoke to confused young men, like me. We were all toughness on the outside, and soft as marshmallow within! 😂 Following the Mod scene and attending discos also brought me soul music, which still stirs memories, mostly positive. And then came psychedelia…..🙃 I vaguely remember being on Hay Tor while a plane flew over, dropping flowers. Nowadays, it would probably be a drone with a loudspeaker, telling us to disperse immediately! 😲

We never escape those formative years. A few bars, and we're transported back to times that look temptingly rosy….at a distance of 50 or 60 years! 😉 Certainly, it was good to have all one's bits fully functional! See below.🙄

Mrs Dusty and I were in town all day for her physio appt, follow-up footwear purchase, and a litany of other stuff. Maybe we should have swapped places, as I seem to have a knee + hamstring problem now. 😕 Came home to very dry pots, so it must've been quite hot. We scarcely noticed, but the ride home was pretty.😊
