Peter Beales nursery isn't far from me. I bought a rose for my uncle from them recently, and apparently it arrived in good condition. Lots of my neighbours have bought lots from them…

Avocado
Can't remember the tree, is it grown in Africa though?
No idea of the song
Findus?

I meant Peter Beales thank you Greenbee 😍
I washed the bedding this morning, then spent the rest of the morning looking at holidays for next winter🥳 I did go out after lunch in the garden , I planted some liatris and another bulbs which I can’t remember the name of at the moment. Then planted out some daffodils that were flowering inside. I noticed the dogwood was looking a mess , some of it had rotted and wasn’t much new growth on it . So that has been sorted.
I sprinkled round some blood ,fish ,bone. In the hope it will help feed the soil . I know you lot seem to use it ,so gave it a whirl..
It was drizzling by the time I finished , which meant I got the washing in before it got wet. I ended up wet but jumped in the shower , and sorted tea out.

The avocado's right. 😇 Some people say 'coconut,' but that's technically a seed!
The tree is common in the UK. 2p was very close with her answer to the third question.
The mystery logo is on lots of garden products. 😉 Farway may get this one. Men have tended to see it more than ladies over the years…..
It finally stopped raining at about 15.00, so I had a few hours outdoors.😃 Despite the wood being all soggy, I cut some more sides for the last deep bed. That will be my final wet day project of the winter.
The hedgehog box purchased from elsewhere arrived a few days ago. I learned from it that our two would have been better if we'd used Cuprinol Garden Shades, rather than Ducksback.😕 At the time, I was only following orders (and trying to avoid the expensive alternatives! 😥) I guess it's not too late to overpaint, but it won't be MSE.
Don't give up on Compostbag carparkii yet, Bluey. Maybe it will be born again from the base. 🧚

Wild guess. Salicylic acid - salix - willow?
Westland
Octopus's Garden

I guessed the same as Paspatur for Willow and Octopus's Garden. Logo was annoying me.
Is the second logo Briggs & Stratton? I'm pretty sure it's on my mower…

Oh I meant to say Willow for aspirin. Think it's a specific sort.
Westmoreland or is it Westland of course.
Didn't know avos were a fruit. I had 7 trees overwinter in my compost heap no problem. But they can grow to 30 ft so they had to go. I did offer them around first but no takers 😏
Farway I'm never sure with your photos if their AI 😈👼. You tease us.
Bluey, bungalow ok, lovely long garden overlooking the sea. Problem is you get all the noise from the sea, largely in shade, isolated at end of cul-de-sac. Glad you have some gorgeous cyclamen 🙂 you seem to have had problems with your plants. How's the rose doing?
Wort you had a good day there. Must be satisfying. Can hardly remember what they are like 🤔
Peter Beale have been around a long time and sell to the garden centres so if the postal quality is the same should be a safe bet.
Hi Taff, how's it going?
Grey, misty and wet. Still 10c and no wind which helps. So no gardening. Got all the horrible jobs I've been putting off done. Went out with the camera but too dim and dull. Idiot son and neighbour keeping going out instead of staying in. Small removal van blocked my window and a small number of items were removed. He's either moving out or making space for his stuff so mustn't get my hopes up.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Well done! We won't go into which variety of willow,,,, I don't know! However, I used to steep young willow twigs in water to make a cuttings 'accelerator' 😉 Then, I got lazy and used soluble aspirin instead. 😂
The Westland logo without any writing looks quite like a slug. It puzzled most people.
Octopus's Garden struck me as a 'filler' when I was young….and I still think it was. We won't go near anything of Octopussy's! 😲🙀

You got it! 😀 I spent a lot of time staring at that logo on the old Mountfield.

Darn, I knew the willow, but too late to the party tonight! Didn't get any of the others before I saw the answers...😕 And I thought Peter Beales was either a footballer or an Eastenders' character…🤔

Dammit! willow, of course! I got confused with quinine for the tree…I've not noticed Westand, I suppose compost bags would be what I'd most see of the logo, I bet I've got some in the compost bag of compost bags too :) Errr [ insert embarrassed smiley], totally forgot it was garden related when I said Findus but you know, they do peas and stuff? :)
One of my rose cuttings has taken [ thanks for reminding me wort, take more cuttings for free ones wort when it's a grown up!]
Been shifting stones, inexpertly chopping apple trees, more like butchering, and fiddling about at the lotment. All twigs now in their forever homes, blackcurrant bush moved, behind the fruit cage clearing going on, got a load of wood chip coming tomorrow, no idea what it'll be like but either way it'll get used. No seeds sown yet..
just for you ybe…
2nd hedge, the hypericum seems to be alive too, yay..
Third hedge, they all seem to be evolving too, the first one is short and squat, the second one is taller and more open structured, the third one is even more open structured and more 45 degrees, and much taller. And the garlic seems ot be doing ok in it's half straw bed.
So that's what I've been doing in between rain…
Dusty, the little hand held chainsaw is good but I can't seem to get a clean cut with it.
