Charge to RECEIVE a text message abroad?

Hi folks, I have noticed that on classic PAYG outside the EU (so this means the US, Australia etc), Asda Mobile will charge 20p just to RECEIVE a text message, but won't charge to receive a MMS message. Does anyone know about any other UK network that charges to RECEIVE a standard text message abroad?
It just seems wrong to me - if my bank sends me a fraud alert or my nan wishes me happy birthday or my email provider uses 2-step verification... all result in a charge using Asda Mobile.
Users don't have any choice on whether or not to accept an incoming text (spam texts too will cost 20p to receive), so does it seem wrong to anyone else that Asda Mobile charges to receive a text abroad?

No network anywhere charges to receive a standard SMS message, including while roaming anywhere worldwide.
It's a mistake on the Asda Mobile website, the subject arose one time last year. I sent myself a text while in Singapore and of course there was no charge to receive it on Asda Mobile.Evolution, not revolution3 -
Thank you so much eDicky! I was going out of my mind thinking I'd put my parents on a SIM that would do this. Thank for setting our minds at ease!eDicky said:No network anywhere charges to receive a standard SMS message, including while roaming anywhere worldwide.
