  • I too am waiting for the download link email for the 3%, (I got the one saying I was selected) still nothing after three emails to chase them!

I think it means  they reached the maximum they wanted for the 3% account.
Which is presumably less than the 100 they offered it to...
Or the maximum amount in their comment refers to the funds received which they will have to pay 3% on, rather than the "lucky 100"?

Yes but the lucky 100 and the funds they will pay 3% should be in effect one and the same given they also set a maximum deposit amount.

Good news for those that missed out on the beta first time: Tandem appear to now be offering 1.2% on a 1 yr fixed saver (join beta waitlist) on their website as of this afternoon.
  • Woooooooo! 1.2% 🤦‍♂️

    What are we doing? 🤷‍♂️

I am always very cautious about opening an account with any organisation I don't know, as other have here. The 3% seemed too good to be true here, and clearly was. The fact that Tandem seem to have revoked on their "offer" would steer me away from them entirely as being questionable as a company.

I have just received an email from Alec Hill at Tandem
Invitation to test Tandem Prod iOS for iOS
    Has anyone else had this?

"Fool me onceshame on youfool me twice, shame on me".

The method of getting people to sign up for special rates and then magically not getting them even when confirmed, applies to the above quote, yes?

Anyone remember if this account had both monthly and annual interest options, or was it just annual (end of term)?

I think it was only annual as the 3% quoted was the same gross and AER.
