The advice to try a different briwser (not Chrome) worked for me.I reckon NS&I have got myriad problems at the moment;...I logged-in on Wednesday morning when the problems first became apparent and my ‘Income Bond’ account didn’t even show on the overview,...it just showed the ‘index-linked’ accounts;...surely that can’t have anything to do with the choice of web-browser,...or could it?

Chrome worked for me. Suspect it's simply the sheer volume of traffic following the interest rate announcement along with it being month end.0

If it’s an intermittent problem, then changing browser may coincidentally coincide with success.

I successfully made a withdrawal on Monday which arrived Tuesday using Firefox 81.0

Hope its back to normal for every savers sake. Though the cynic in me says its working for now - until the relevant outbound account (Vostro style) is empty againPeter

I am preparing to transfer all my savings out of my NS&I Income Bond and close the account. The info on their webpage indicates that do this I need to login, select 'Withdraw Money' and enter the full amount in the account. However, no mention is made of how accrued interest is paid.Is it paid immediately when the account is closed (i.e. when all the money is withdrawn) or do you have to wait for up to a month (i.e. when the interest payments are usually paid)?0
