    Anyone?

I made a sizeable withdrawal from Income Bonds this morning and the first time I logged-in the Income Bond account wasn’t even showing!

It appeared after a second login a few minutes later;...perhaps?? they are doing unplanned system maintenance or sumfink.  :*

  • It just worked without an error, must have been a technical glitch.
  • Just made a withdrawal and all went smoothly.

I had this error yesterday when trying to close my Income Bonds using Chrome.
Tried again this morning using Edge and it worked.
The browser change may not have been relevant, though, as they may have fixed it overnight.
  • I'm getting the same error.
Have been trying on/off for an hour.
Also spent last hour waiting on their phone line... now I've seen others have this problem I'll hang up and give it a few hours

Still getting "Error when calling the routine: " - has anyone managed to make a withdrawal?

I tried most of yesterday to make a withdrawal but the transaction would never complete. Tried calling them, held for half an hour waiting to speak to someone but eventually gave up. Got the same error message today, tried calling and after about 50 minutes I got through. The chap on the phone processed my withdrawal for me and the cash should be with me tomorrow. Very frustrating!

Same problem throughout the whole of today.  Wagon train is leaving town ahead of the interest rate cuts. Causing system overload I suspect. Going to try late this evening.

If this is happening now, what will it be like in the days leading up to the rate decreases on 23rd November?

Perhaps they will decide to limit the fallout by reducing the rate reduction.  :)  They have a previous history of changing their mind.

Got £390K out without much hassle - although it didn't turn up for 6 days....The joke is that my children (beneficiaries) have now immediately sent £100K straight back into Premium Bonds.  Oh well!
