Anyone else not able to withdraw funds from NS&I Direct Saver today?

    I have just withdrawn from my Direct Saver on Chrome without any issues although I was asked to answer two security questions.

    I got my withdrawal online this AM finally. Yes, security Qs rather than phone cofirmation.
    I tried their 'chat' function yesterday which was answered immediately so they must have plenty of people working on that. Pointless as he just advised me to phone, and the phone lines are jammed.
    Close the chat function and transfer the people onto the phones where they can actually be useful!

    I'm having the same issue today with withdrawing after answering security questions using Firefox and Chrome :( 
    Update
    Thanks to the suggestions above. I used IE and had no issues.

    Always had to answer two security questions when undertaking online withdrawls. All running smoothly again this afternoon.

    I am getting this error - tried twice in the last hour with same issue ... I am trying to withdraw 40k from an income bond - Screen posts a code for me to use then NS&I automated robot calls to ask for the code ... entered the code and voice message says process complete and to return to the screen - this error message is then posted on the screen.
  • Further to my post this morning which referred to one account, I tried to make a withdrawal from a second account using Edge. This failed (again 'Error when calling the routine')! I then tried Safari on my ipad. This worked with no problem. I then decided to withdraw a futher amount from the first  account using Safari and this worked as well. Strange!

    Same here except I used Firefox.
    If NS&I are having problems now, I dread to think what it's going to be like in a few weeks time when presumably a huge number of people attempt to empty their accounts.
  • Edge still not working for me, but just fully closed the Direct Saver account with no issues in Chrome, strange!!!

    Hi

    We had problems loggingin to my and my OH accounts. We hold P/Bonds and the variable saved that will be going down next to nothing in interest in Nov. We evetually logged in and I guess people were shocked at the massive rate reduction and site is very busy. We never expected a drop from just over 1% to 0.1% so most people are leaving I guess.
