Flexible mortgage Isa

Hi all
my flexible mortgage isa has ended with L&g on the 20th of last month had a letter to say it would be payed into my account with 8 working days. Have called them twice now each time they have taken my number and said the money would be in my account by the end of the working day. Still no payment. Is this normal or how do I force them to repay my money. If there any independent way to take action if that is even necessary.
thanks for any help

What date was your final payment? (the end date the final date are not unusually the same as you have to allow for clearing cycle for the direct debit to arrive at L&G and for it to be classed as cleared. Then the funds need to be sold and settled which adds another week. Then another 3 days before it arrives in your account if they use BACs. Same day if its CHAPs.
