Barclaycard : My experience as a new customer. TLDR they are the most incompetent!
After 10 years of online access working properly, I had exactly the same login error for 5 weeks up the end of August '21. The issue was unresolved and I gave up and closed my account.
I thought I should update my experience now it's been almost a year.
Nobody from Barclays has ever got back to me.
I haven't tried to log in since I last posted. Today to my surprise (after accepting the "warning" error message that I needed to accept the terms and conditions) the website actually worked!
Fortunately the barclaycard android app has been working fine and i've been able to download pdf statements that way.
But there's no amount of money you could pay me to ever move my day to day banking to them.
I use the Barclaycard App almost exclusively now, since they added a Cashback display to the app, but I still have to use the web site if I want to check the exact date my next statement is due to be produced. I still can't see that particular piece of info in the app.
I haven't been able to download the Barclaycard app on my iPhone since I've had my Forward card. Came up I need to take ID to local Barclays and locked me out and since I have social anxiety I don't want to attend Barclays. I have been able to sign in online though and deal with my banking needs that way and this is okay with me.
