The Parking Goon here has been put-on to more useful duties for the moment - He's been going round handing-out PPE to everyone and work have waived all daily and permit charges until at least December.

I wonder if this is  why I and seemingly many others are now seeing PPC's initiating court action where they have previously not bothered for long-standing PCNs. Without as many new tickets, they need to pursue their old ones.
Of course, but as a lot of water will have gone under the bridge, the daft legals who bring these claims and know very little about them will suffer.

We can expect a lot more old ticket claims as parking firms fight to survive

No one will care if these companies go to the wall. They are dispensable as their clients can manage their car parks "in house".

They will not be able to pick up the pieces like some businesses as life has changed and more people are shopping online. Many people who had their groceries delivered during the pandemic have still carried on.  There will not be the need for car park management in supermarkets except at certain times like the run up to Christmas. They can manage that themselves.

Many towns are car free and some have congestion charges. Nottingham is good because they have a tram system.

I can see some two car families going down to one as electric cars are quite expensive.

I bought a card yesterday. It had the A to Z of dinosaurs on the front.

MSE will PPR you if you post links to GFM! 😆
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
