managed  another  yesterday 17/20   gonna  be  tight  to  meet  target  this  month ,  but  I'll  try 
Ooo  November  i  think  I'll be  conservative  and can  you  put  me  for 15   thanks  cathybird   may  have  to get  some dreaded  "c"  word   stuff  in  but  have  really  downsized  with  friends  and  family , the  best  gift  will be  able  to  spend  some  time  together x   Thank  you   too  for  keeping  this  thread  going xx

Well done short bird and jammy dodger I totally forgot when I said I'd had an NSD yesterday that I put in an online food order! Brain had a bit of a blip there. I'm hoping for 18 today. I am going to have at least one more non-NSD before the end of the month so I won't reach 20. Next month maybe

It's a pleasure jammy dodger, I love this thread I've been running it now just over a year and it's interesting how the numbers of people taking part has really fluctuated - in January this year we had 36!! It was a bit mad actually and I had to rush to keep up with the updates but I think people in January are emerging from the Christmas/New Year craziness and feel they need to pay down debt/save pennies/stop drinking/lose weight/get things more on track etc, so they'd be more likely to join this sort of challenge ... It's (comparitively) quiet at the moment but I think people are probably gearing up for the festive season with some winter sales already starting. I love this group, I find this challenge so helpful myself, if I want to buy something but I'm going for an NSD I put the purchase off and sometimes that's all you need in order to realise you didn't need/want that thing anyway. Plus I plan ahead more. Anyway not sure why I'm saying all this, just wanted to say I really enjoy the challenge, hope you all do too xx

Ditto cathybird  i  have  a   "virtual"  basket   and when  im good  let  it  linger  there   for  a  while    and  find  I  dont  actually   need  it ...Im a  bit  of  a  yarn  - aholic  but have been  very  strict  with myself  this year  ,  not  having  wool   festivals  to    attend  has  helped  too  
  life  gets  in  way  sometimes  and  not always  able  to  post   NSDs,  but  for  many   this  thread  certainly inspires  and  encourages  x

one  for  today  too  went   shopping    for  a neighbour  who  is  shielding  prior  to  surgery next  week  and  never  added  to her   basket     18/20
