Tax credit operations telephone interview

I really need some help and advice.
I received a letter yesterday from tax credit operations asking me to attend a telephone interview next week.
It states that they have links to my ex partner at my address.
I have been a single parent, separated from him for a good few years.
All bills etc are in my name and are paid by myself.
They are asking for bank statements, utility bills etc from April-July 2019.
I have no idea what this is about and I am worried shitless that I am being accused or investigated for fraud.
Please can someone shed some possible light

It was not uncommon for TC to check on single claims (particularly if the ex-partner lived at the address and still had financial links to that address - TC use credit agencies such as Experian).
Were you married? if you read the link, you will see different criteria then apply.
Ask your ex-partner to provide a copy of his tenancy / mortgage agreement to show he lives elsewhere.
