Hot water

I have just had a new boiler installation due to not getting any hot water. After installation I get hot water from the bath only ! 4 other taps do not get the boiler to fire up. Plumber suggest I change the taps as they may have flow restrictor in them. Changed the kitchen tap and no joy. Pressure from bath tap is good others not so good. Any ideas ? Would installing a flow booster set this right ?

Hi it's a mains gas combi boiler0

Can you open up the water main flow any more at the stopcock? No free lunch, and no free laptop0

It's fully open, hot water works if I open multiple taps for some reason.
Could flow restrictor on the taps cause this ?0 -
A registered gas installer should be able to diagnose this issue in minutes if he is any good.
Does he have a weir cup to try the flow at the taps? This way he would know immediately if there is enough flow.
He could also see if opening the taps triggers the boilers flow switch to call for DHW demand.
I fear you may have had a new boielr installed where it isn't necessary.
Can you use a jug and time how long it takes to fill it with 1 litre of water from one of the non-working hot taps for me?
Also, what boiler have you had installed?
