You do get hd using component I guess it's easier to connect up a HDMI connection ?

I just checked mine and it comes up as 1080i. You can also get a cable which plug in to a computer monitor which is a handy accessory.

i dont get why they feel the need for the hdmi slot if the component does the job. you could say the other way around as well. why bother having the component slot of you can have the hdmi. i dont see the logic in having both.

im no expert but maybe because some tvs have oneslot , and some tvs have the other?

well that depends whether you think it is worth paying another £50 for forza2, wwe and another controller. for me personally it isnt because i dont fancy those two games and i rarely play against other people so the second controller would hardly be used.

just to add that i have been posting in more than one xbox 360 related thread lately and when i replied to the prevoious post i was assuming that it was a reply to another post i did in this thread but after looking back my post must have been in another thread.
in that other post i mentioned an offer at pc world/currys were you get an xbox pro, halo3, assassins creed and virtua fighter 5 for £279.
i hope it all makes sense now.

if you dont see a bundle there you like then go to a GAME shop and see if you can get a bundle but swap 1 of the bundle games with a game you like or want, if game wont do that then try Gamestation if poss and see if they will do a custom bundle

my local hmv still has the halo 3, need for speed bundle at £250. i dont fancy need for speed though. do you think they could be persuaded to change that game for something else?
