it must be a pro then?

Well was advertised as a Premium?

With regards to the PS3, I had the choice and went for the 360 due to it being much better priced, and having plenty of games available for it. The PS3 is still very limited in the games department at the moment.

i think i said on another thread that i think the shops dont have a clue which is which. certain shops are probably selling a pro and saying it is a premium and vice versa.

Well Play.com is advertising them as Premiums, but I can assure you they have HDMI so must be Pros.

    ptp

first off xbox live is max of £40 a year or a min of £25(depending where you get 1 from)
you can pay for LIVE monthly or yearly(£4.99 a month) you choose if you wnat to pay monthly or yearly, its cheaper yearly,
you can buy the subscriptions from most game shops on the high street or internet stores

Gold subscription is where you can download demos, play arcade games and play in multiplayer games

silver sub is the same as gold but you cant play multiplayer games

i believe the hdmi slot is so you can connect the console to your tv with a hdmi cable to get the true hd gaming experience. people say you already get the hd experience with the component cable but if you do then why would they bother with the hdmi cable and slot? to watch hd dvds you have to buy the seperate hd dvd drive which costs a minimum of £100 depending were you shop. you do get 5 free hd dvds with it in most places i think. so it is good so long as you dont mind splashing out the extra cash just after spending £250 plus on the console.

id like to add that the 5 free hd dvds is an offer from microsoft only, you but the hd dvd player and you download a form and fill it in and get a copy of you receipt and send the form off with a copy of your receipt
