The phone 12 is not out yet so pointless asking until it's in the flesh and people have reported on it and using it.

Also it would be a help if you said if u had the iPhone 11 and what you like about it.

Some say due to the pandemic there is a shortage of parts and the 12 will not be as good as the 11

It will be more advanced.
Its probably not going to be worth getting if you have an 11, unless you really really want 5G.

If you have an iPhone 7 it is time to upgrade. Everything newer its harder to say how worthwhile you will find it.

The advantages will be linear rather technical

I would say it is not worth upgrading if you have an iPhone 7. Runs the same software as the iPhone 12 and fast enough for most people.
