I used 7city for mine. They were alright, but the 3/4 day courses they do are pretty good and the materials they provided were key (example questions).0

Well all the materials I got a hard copy of, were the same as online, so it gives you the option of reading the material on a computer or like a book. But obvious the questions online are a lot better as they are marked automatically (the question booklets you obviously have to spend about an hour marking them!). I found the questions key to passing the exam (a lot of them are written as how they are in the exam), so I was doing the mocks twice each as well as the chapter questions a few times (takes a lot of time!).
The materials I got were chapter details (there are ~20 chapters over the 2 exams), chapter questions, 10 mock exams (5 on each exam), 2 item set questions (1 on each exam) and some additional questions. (both online and hard copy)
I actually failed the Regulatory one first time (slight fail - 1-5%) which annoyed me greatly and I found it a lot harder to revise for that one compared to the Practice one where it was very math based.
In the courses they basically go over the material which you need to know and give you tips in the exam. As it's very intensive it's quite difficult to understand the in's and out's of everything and you've just got to know what to do, rather than why.
7city did actually do it through my employer (they organise it every year for the graduates) and have been using them for a couple of years now.0 -

Hello does anyone need a Casio fx-83GT plus scientific calculator for IMC exam? it is brand new and sealed. I am in Edinburgh.
Also does anyone take the first part exam in January?0 -
I am going to take exam part 1 at the end of January, is it difficult to pass it without special courses?0
