Lost Halifax App - How to pay cheques in online now?

Hi All,
Since Covid-19 started I've been doing my elderly Mum's shopping & she's been paying me back with cheques. I always pay these in via the Halifax app, but I can no longer use the app due to my phone being too old. I don't want to travel to a branch & I don't want to draw cash out of her account. Anyone have a solution for me to continue banking cheques online please?

Could you open a Starling account with your phone which also has the ability of paying cheques on the app?

Post Office Banking Services in the short term, and a more modern phone in the long run.

Post them to a branch if needs must, with instructions.

I agree about the new phone suggestion though. If the Halifax app is no longer supported, how do you know you wont have the same issue with other banking apps?

Starling are unlikely to be usable on your phone if it's that old.

Starling pre-req is still only iOS 9.6. Halifax is min iOS 10. I wouldn't be surprised if Starling moved to at least 10 before long.
