Hi
After the forced upgrade of Windows 10 last night my Windows Live mail has failed to work properly. It displays the message header, but in the text of the message it says.
Yes I know they haven't been supporting windows live mail since 2016, but I've struggled along so far, is this the crunch?
What is the easiest fix for this?

'Message could not be displayed Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while
displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space
and try again'
Windows live mail is linked to my gmail account and live mail account. I can still access the former via the webYes I know they haven't been supporting windows live mail since 2016, but I've struggled along so far, is this the crunch?

Easiest fix is to use the Mail app in Windows 10.

I've yet to find it to run, however, after I set the Mail app in Windows 10 as the default, the old Windows live mail spontaneously started to work properly again!0 -
I spoke too soon, Windows live mail isn't sending outward mail, so I'll try to find that programme.0

That's what I'm trying to do.
Where exactly do I find the the supported Mail app in Windows 10?
I have already set this
Default apps > Email > Mail Recommended for windows 10
Then what? The system seems to be still interested in going to outlook and Microsoft LiveMail0 -

Then what? The system seems to be still interested in going to outlook and Microsoft LiveMailMail IIRC doesn't import anything from Live Mail, you need to set it up again in Mail.Just type "Windows Mail" into the search box at the bottom and there it is. You can then click "Add an Account" and select as appropriate.2 -
I've found it now, so I should be able to manage, thanks.0

wongataa said:You can transfer folders over, maybe not automatically though. Open Thunderbird. Create folder. Open WLM and go to folder you want to transfer. Select all the mail in it and drag and drop it into the folder in Thunderbird. If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0
