Thank you for all replys.
well if he agreed to this tariff, '1 Year Fix Super Deal (1 rate)', then that's what he's on, but why sign up for it if he has storage heaters?

Most suppliers are ceasing these multi rate multi meter tariffs and converting them to single rate - yet another waste of space OFGEM failure. If storage heaters are installed then they are likely best getting an E7 meter fitted but if any wiring changes are needed - there should not be - then that would be at their expense.Any of the major suppliers will take the system on at single rate but it will not be available on comparison sites, only by speaking to their specialist metering teams, and unlikely to be at competitive rates. They don't really want to take them on but OFGEM insisted so they make it as difficult as possible. They will not be able to go back onto a multi rate tariff with the existing metering with any supplier.1

If they're Elnur, they don't seem anything to be anything special.Try this test to see whether they're big enough to cope with Economy 7. If so, then switching to E7 would allow a competitive tariff from a much wider range of suppliers. However, if significant topping up at day rates is required then it's either a case of replacing / adding some more NSHs, or switching to a competitive single rate tariff.1

She can then switch to the best E7 tariff in the whole market by visiting a few comparison sites starting with Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?'.1

Even better "good news", Quantum RF.
As SSE may have made an error in recommending the "1 rate tariff", or ticked the wrong box, should we seek a revue?0 -

It's a long shot, but you could always have a try. SSE will be very keen to avoid the Ombudsman: their record is so poor that they've agreed you can go to the Ombudsman after six weeks instead of the usual eight if you haven't had a deadlock letter.Might be worth starting asking for a recording or transcript of the call to see what was asked for and whether storage heaters were mentioned. They are obliged to offer single rate without a meter change so that may explain it, but if advice was sought they should have mentioned their E7 rates and what would be involved in changing to such a tariff.- Does she qualify for the Priority Services Register, Warm Home discount, etc?

Update, still on going with SSE at this time.
