I'm quite surprised people still support this government, I cannot think of one thing they've done right.

Tell us again what's your personal expertise on handing pandemics ?

Which is why I said in my post according to local guidelines. Doesn’t affect my point that the government have not made a blanket decision with regards to visitors, or whether people can go out or not.
People who don’t have capacity or the physical ability can go out in a wheelchair unless they are being nursed in bed. There may well be staffing implications to this, but it’s not impossible where being stuck in is unduly impacting on people.

Are you serious?  You think care homes have the staff to spare two people to take a wandering dementia patient for a walk?  You think they are willing/able to take that risk too?

Many people in care homes have essentially been prisoners for 6 months, their physical and mental condition has deteriorated and they have been deprived of one of the most basic human needs, contact with the people they love and who love them.
  • Can I recommend this programme

    which discussed false positives .

btw it's an excellent series and although it doesn't always support the govt's statistics, it will back them if they are correct

Concerned in what respect? No test is going to be 100% accurate.

Did you read the Spectator article ?
Try an accuracy of less than 50%
And that covers all people who have been detected as having Covid over the last 28 days
leaving a true level at very low levels

The number of false positives is tiny, especially when so many people have the virus, so I hope you are alone in being concerned. It's not a reason to be concerned.
    So many people?
Less than half a % of the population?  LOL
