Thunderbird - get all mails

Just swapped to a new PC - Installed Thunderbird 78 but my previous add-on 'get all mails' is no longer compatible!
I have five email accounts on TB I used to press the drop down arrow next to 'get messages' and select 'get all new messages' but sadly, that no longer works.
Shift/F5 does nothing. File / get new messages for all accounts, just checks Mrs B's account but not the other 4
Any suggestions?

Go to account settings,
Then, for each account, go to 'Server settings'
click 'Advanced'
check that 'include this server when getting mail' is selected.
BTW - you don't need to use the drop down arrow, you can just click the 'Get messages' button.

Thanks but .....That option is only available to me if I want to d/l the messages to 'a different account' otherwise, it's greyed out. 🤷♂️0

Oh right, I download the mails from all my accounts into the 'Local folders' file, so that works for me.
Don't know what you can do unless the author of 'get all mails' updates it.1 -
Doesn't Thunderbird just get all messages as and when they come anyway? What purpose does this button actually serve?

Hmm, but even the "File / Get New Messages For / All accounts" only downloads one account (Mrs B's account which is 2nd on the list!)alanwsg said:Oh right, I download the mails from all my accounts into the 'Local folders' file, so that works for me.

I use Thunderbird, I have 2 email accounts setup on it. When I open TB, it automatically syncs first one account then the next to the one Inbox, and if I leave it open and a new email arrives it syncs that too.
So I don't know why yours doesn't do that ?1 -
I use POP3 (and would like to continue to do so) don't know if that matters.I just want TB to work like it's done in the many years that I've used it0

I just tried "File / Get New Messages For / All accounts" on my installation and it does the same as just clicking the "Get messages" button (I do have a couple of old accounts that don't have the 'include this server when getting mail' option set, they still didn't get downloaded).J_B said:

Thanks, but that wants to put all messages in a 'global inbox' whereas I would prefer to keep them separate. 😊ianto11 said:
