Moved into new house - need LPG help

Options
Moved into a house that has LPG. Tank gauge is at 30 .(4 bed 2009 build.
How long do you think 30 will last ?
There is no supplier sticker on tank.
How do i know if its on contract?
Who / how do i get it filled ? Do i need a contract ?
We previously had oil on old house.

You don't have a contract as you never signed one.
Ring round or use the web to find best supplier deal, though I believe with LPG the tanck belongs to the exsting supplier who may charge to remove it.
When purchasing, surely details of current supplier were given you as pasrt of the conveyancing process?

    30 probably means 30% full (?)
How long will depend on usage (obviously) and size of the tank.
Whether you are owner or tenant, surely someone should have informed you about it before moving in ... shouldn't they?

Although the tank belongs to the current supplier, there is a mechanism in place for it to be transferred to whoever you chose as your supplier.

As suggested, certainly shop around and look to see if you have any of the smaller independents in your area.  They tend to be cheaper than the likes of Calor and Flogas.

As a guide, the going price, if you shop around, is around 33ppl.
