Is my Ovo energy really expensive? Or is my usage high?

It seems to just increase and increase. We're 2 people in a 3 bedroom house who are now working from home. Our bill for G+E is currently £126 per month which seems high to me.

I looked into a quote from Octopus and they're quoting £83 per month for a household of 3-5 people where some people may be at home in the day. Considering there's only 2 of us this seems close to what we'd use, though I could probably run the numbers and find out exactly.

Our usage for example is:

August 2020 with no heating on:
433.97 kWh. 387.75 Electricity / 46.22  Gas

January 2020 with heating on:
1999.29 kWh. 403.55 Electricity / 1595.74 Gas

Whole of 2019:

15560.83 kWh. 4082.95 Electricity / 11477.88 Gas

You need an actual annual consumption to get meaningful comparisons
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

4082.95 Electricity / 11477.88 Gas - almost exactly what mine is. Elec with GNE estimated at £630 ; gas with Zog £400

    Separate suppliers is generally cheaper

We aren't able to change providers as the landlord won't let us. I wonder if there is a better plan we could be on with Ovo.

That's interesting to read. Sadly with S21's being given out for any or no reason it seems a risk to go against anything in the tenancy agreement or try and point out our legal rights. Seems like an easy way to get evicted :( It says in our tenancy agreement we can't change suppliers and despite asking we've just been ignored.

Your electricity is high but your gas is low. What's your heating system? No instantaneous electric shower, I trust?

I think it must be electric, as it never runs out of hot water.
I think gas is just for the radiators and hot water out of the tap.
Maybe electricity is high as we have a few more electricals than most? Two big TVs, my partner has a large gaming desktop PC. I am found most nights running the sewing machine! We also have a tumble dryer but I try to limit how much I use it. In the summer, not at all. In the winter probably an hour a day on average.

As my post above - similar to mine -  2 people in 3 bed  - gas heating, no electric shower. I know my electric is high - I am an early bird, my wife a night owl.

IANAL and all that, but I'd just switch, say nothing, and move back just before leaving the property.  How will the LL know you've switched?  It's probably an Unfair Contract anyway.  See what Citizens Advice recommend.
