Well the way the lockdown works in Wales (I'm in an such an area) is that you can't enter/leave an area under these measures without good reason - such as work - & unfortunately a holiday doesn't count as a good reason.
There are lots of people who can't get refunds or claim on holiday insurance who want to go on holiday from these areas because the way that travel insurance is written- there has to be an instruction from the UK govt apparently....& Matt Hannock has been asked about this already & did his usual 'not my problem, governor' response.0 -
I’m thinking of starting a hotel business. My business model is quite simple. I plan to accept bookings on a ‘non-refundable basis’ only. Then three days before each booking is due to start I’ll cancel the booking with the guest, but because it’s classed as a ‘non-refundable booking’ I’m not inclined to refund the customer any money. 100% income and zero expenditure. It’s the perfect business model, right...?!0
