STA Travel Refunds Advice

Hi,
My Daughter and partner were going off traveling for 3 months (booked through STA) in March when covid 19 hit...They pushed most of there travels forward to November but the Thailand part of there trip wouldn't allow this so off they went, their flight home got cancelled and they had to rebook flights homes which they luckily managed to do.
Now the company has gone bust we are trying like many others to get a refund. I paid £2500 on my credit card and the rest was paid for via debit cards from both my daughter and partner. I have put in a claim for the whole amount which is just over £9000 via my credit card company. So my Question is do we wait and see what happens or do we go on and try and get money back via their debit cards or CAA or ABTA as the paragraph on the website states.
Thanks any help appricated.

You may find your credit card will not accept the claim as you bought the tickets for someone else.0

OK... so do we wait and see or put in another claim with ABTA or debit cards?

Which scenario does their booking come under. That will tell you who you claim from.
Have they tried their travel insurance ?
Their claim will be for the cost of the new flights less the cost of the original return flight.0 -
We are trying to claim back the traveling that was moved to November which they can no longer do due to the travel restrictions in Australia and New Zealand they were also due to go to Bali and Fiji. Travel insurance doesn't cover Covid. but the trip was ATOL protected and we have certificate.0
