Grateful for any advice from others who may have been in a similar position.
We have flights, booked through Carlton Leisure, London-Washington, Washington-New Orleans, New Orleans-Grenada, Grenada-London. All show one one BA reference - internal flights with AA.
We're looking to get a refund, expect a long wait and know Carlton Leisure are charging a £75 admin charge - but wondered on timing to start the process. Flight out still showing , but clearly we can't travel to states due to restrictions there.
Thanks in advance

I suspect that unless one or more of those flights are cancelled by the airline, you will not get a refund from the airline/Carlton Leisure.
If a flight segment is cancelled you may have the option to cancel the itinerary but CL can deduct their service fee for the work done on your behalf.
If the flights operate but you are unable to travel (due to US border restrictions) then this would become a travel insurance matter. The airline may however offer flexibility in moving flights or offer a credit but as CL are in the middle of this I think it will get messy.0 -
Thank you - our insurers are stating we can start the process from 31 days before flight so may be best to explore that option.0

I would wait closer to the flight dates, to see if flights are cancelled. Then, you may get refund and won't need to claim on insurance.

Any advice please?
I have flight booked to Australia through BYOJET flying with Emirates on 1/12/2020. B'ham to Dubai, Dubai to Melbourne and returning same stops.
Some flight times and dates have changed already but now one of the legs has been cancelled completely.
Should I try for a refund now or wait until more legs or the whole thing is cancelled?
Many thanks0
