I think you are right, given the OP has chewed their minds a few times in this thread. Going from white all the way through to a dark colour..maybe the OP is just indecisiveAylesbury_Duck said:
I told you you'd get used to it. Just go with your choice and install it, because otherwise I fear you'll be constantly wanting to change your mind because you're wondering about other possible options.horsingaround123 said:Ok I do actually like the colour or the units now.... I’m convinced they have changed in colour since I’ve taken the units out of the box and unwrapped... got darker.
But still, good to know where I stand0 -
I'm intrigued what colour!!
We have the altino petrol blue and i love it.
We weren't sure on colour but knew we wanted not white or black!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1 -
Would be interesting to see clarification.unholyangel said:
There was somewhere it was detailed, but it's been so long since it's came up that I've forgotten where. Basically by post they mean easily taken to the local post office. It's designed to cover items that are too bulky or heavy and would require a courier collection. How was the kitchen delivered?
"Normal post" won't just mean Royal Mail, a kitchen cupboard could generally be sent via courier.
Do they use their own people? Did they ship on a pallet? Or did you get a lot of boxes delivered by DPD, Yodel, or the like?
Regarding what to do, as a start go back to them and politely advise that your order was not "made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised" and thus you entitled to cancel the contract and if they wish to refuse can they provide the address to which you should serve small claims papers.
In theory you can take a bunch of kitchen cabinets to the Post Office and send via Parcelforce, I think a standard unit would fit in their size requirements.
A Parcelforce booking through a 3rd party could be on par or cheaper than Royal Mail, 2kg+ by 1st/2nd class is pretty expensive these days (a whopping £15.85 by 1st Class!).
Couriers have certainly become part of "normal post" in more recent years. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -

I feel like the colour is like that dress picture. It’s changed colour lol. They do state the sheen will go down by 20% and I wonder how fast that happens.Aylesbury_Duck said:
