Password Manager for Apple devices

Another consideration is, does the Apple keychain create randomised, secure passwords when you need them? If not, then a password manager will do that, and it’s one of the reasons that I use 1Password for my password needs, as well as being usable on my Android phone in addition to the Apple devices.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.1

Thanks everyone for your help. I'll carry on with Keychain as I don't appear to have a need for anything extra.I can't imagine a life without cheese. (Nigel Slater)0

If you're fully in the Apple eco-system then there's no need. If you at some point decide to get something that's not Apple then install a password manager like LastPass on your Apple device, log onto the sites you normally do and the third party password manager will ask you if you want to record the details on it. Much easier than going into Keychain and manually copying them over.Morbier said:Thanks everyone for your help. I'll carry on with Keychain as I don't appear to have a need for anything extra.1
