Paid less than the National Living Wage?

Hi All,
I'm on an annual salary of £17,000 and I work 38 hours per week (no breaks are included in this, as I'm not paid for them).
By my calculations, this means I earn £8.60 per hour. The NLW for people 25 and older is £8.72.
Before I raise it with my employer, I wanted people's opinions on whether my calculations are correct.

The 38 hours does not include lunch breaks, as I'm not paid for those.comeandgo said:What are your start and finish time and how long is lunch and any breaks?0 -

Are you 100% sure it’s 38hrs a week and not 37.5 ? £17,000/37.5x52 = £8.720

I'm sure.ToxicWomble said:Are you 100% sure it’s 38hrs a week and not 37.5 ? £17,000/37.5x52 = £8.720
