Green Network Energy just shows building credit of payments made?

Regrettably switched to Green Network Energy and after an initial reading problem they are taking regular payments and readings but our account just keeps showing a credit of all our payments and no deductions for it usage, so ultimately we have no clue how much power or money we are spending. If course I will be back into the phone about this but wondering whether anyone else experienced the same or an I missing something?

GNE only updates it billing every 3 months - until then it only shows the DD's .  Has GNE given you a date when it wants you to read the meter ?  After you have done that you will get a up to date statement.

In the meantime set up a simple spreadsheet insert your own readings and do some simple sums.

PS I read my meters at the end of the month and give them to GNE even when they don't ask for them.

In my experience with them I they asked for readings every three months which I gave as agreed on the 2nd of the month. They then issued an accurate statement 12 or 14 days later using the supplied readings. (At first slight the statement looked over generous as it usually incorporated the payment taken that month on the 10th).

Incidentally I have just left them, they issued an accurate final bill within 10 days of the switch and I have no reason to think that the credit on that bill will not be returned to my account promptly.
