How can I change my Plusnett Contract Term to end with my LRS account?

When I took out my Broadband/Phone contract with Plusnett I opted for 18 month contract but my LRS Account has come up for Renewal 6 months before my contract ends and I want the option to look around for a new deal when my Broadband contract ends in April. How can I get them to both end in April? Do I have to let my LRS lapse and pay the extra on the 6 months rental or can I get it renewed for just 6 months?

Having had a similar conversation with PN retentions last year - no you can't renew ALR for 6 months. You have to move over to monthly.
I did a 24 month deal for broadband so now the end dates of phone ALR is ~ 3 weeks after broadband end date. When I negotiate next year, I'm prepared to lose a few bob on line rental if I have to move both elsewhere.0 -

Haven't looked lately at prices but I think monthly paid worked out ~ £2.50pm more, so ~ £15 altogether1

Just phoned Plusnett to check how I could get both contracts to end at the same time and as you say you have to pay monthly so instead of paying £13.51 which I pay at present for the calls package, I would be paying a total of £33.00, so an extra £19.49 per month for 6 months or £116.94. Whereas if I take the LRS, for 6 months would cost £105 (if it was offered which obviously it is not!). So a loss of approx. £11. So it is worth it to just let the LRS lapse and pay the monthly payments. Obviously as the LRS is going to increase in price on 7th October I would lose the cost saving there too of about £5. Presumably not renewing my LRS contract does not affect my Unlimited Anytime calls cost?0

Call plan won't be affected if you don't renew LRS.

Problem is 12 month deals are often more expensive than longer deals for BB .10% saving on advanced payment has to be factored in .0
