Yes and as i pointed out we are paying them again every month without fail no issues like before they cocked up! my point being that they are being unreasonable and no dam well i cant magic 3000 in 6 months.more sp now they have gave us bad credit
They're just asking for the loan to be repaid by the date it was supposed to be repaid. Had the collective you managed your finances better then that wouldn't have been an issue because the money would have been sat there, whether it was still in that bank account because it hadn't been taken or it was sat in a savings account in an emergency fund..

If this is the way your household manage your finances then the last thing you want to be doing is to be applying for credit because you're going to end up in a whole world of hurt and being in financial distress will do your 4 year old no good. In fact you should be starting to teach your child about money over the next few years which is hard to do if you don't practice good personal finance yourself.
  • Obviously in hindsight it would have been wise to put this £299 away in a fund somewhere as payments simply dont go away, I work for a German Car Finance Company and a lot of the agreement numbers are similar so the wrong agreement has been contra-settled. Once the paperwork was unravelled and the actual person was paying two payments then this would have come to light quickly.
Mistakes happen, but I agree with the last post, sell the car, loan finance the balance and pay them what is owed for the sake of mental health and your own security.
