Vodafone broadband told me to find another ISP because they are not sure when they can fix my issues

I have been with Vodafone broadband for over a year with no issues I started having speed problems in july, a bt enginner was called and he explained that a number of Vodafone users had the same issue and it was a internal ISP problem .After a few days the problem was fixed and customer service contacted me and offered two months free due to my speed problems .I have now started with the same issues Vodafone have have done a number of test and have excepted its a internal vodafone routing .problem
Kirsty from the engineering team contacted me saying they do not have a timescale on my repair and it is best that I find a new provider ! has anyone else come across this ?

If the problem is within Vodafone’s network, then switching to someone else should not have the same problem.
AFAIK, if a ISP offers you a minimum speed guarantee and then cannot meet that minimum, they have to allow you to leave penalty free ( it’s them not delivering what they promised and an Ofcom rule that says you should be able to leave )
If you signed up to a really ‘cheap’ deal, perhaps many others did the same and now  there are far too many customers for the amount of bandwidth VF have , hence the poor performance (over utilisation) and your opportunity to leave
