Your credit rating is a meaningless number. It would only show up on your credit report if they take you to court, obtain a CCJ and do not pay it in thirty days.Unicorn79 said:
WiIl this affect my credit rating?
That is what they will do with a debt.
eHarmony almost certainly will not have, they might well sell on debts and a collection agency might. It is a fairly low amount so one would presume it is not worth the bother, but the paperwork is simple for them to do and they can recover the fee if they win so they might do it.Unicorn79 said:Has anybody been taken to court by eHarmony over £65!?0 -
You still owe them the money, as your original repayment has been recalled from them. A charge-back doesn’t remove your obligation to pay.Unicorn79 said:Update, e-Harmony cancelled, charge back received 3 months ago. Now I receive an email from eHarmony with an invoice, ironically for the same amount as the chargeback! They are instructing I pay this. How should I manage this!??0
