We applied on the 13th August and we had ours escalated on the 24th September but still nothing

Do you have access to the tracker? Is everything ticked off and you are just waiting on the offer?

Approval email just came through tonight at 9pm.

We had to have a complaint raised to get it pushed through.

Hi, no I didn't have access to the tracker but my broker said that they kept questioning why I had a large balance in my current account but every time they submitted the information they just kept asking for it again.
  • Just an update- we have had our application approved subject to valuation. Our timeline so far- AIP 15th Sept, application on 18th and then this update today.
    Hoping for a quick valuation!!

Our offer has come through! :-D :-D :-D

    22/06/20 - 05/10/20.  Phew!
  • Finally got my mortgage offer through with NatWest this morning! 6 weeks 2 days from application, or 32 working days.

I know people have waited longer than us but that was the most painful 6 weeks of my life! Good luck to everyone else waiting and hang in there!
  • We are on 3 weeks waiting for a post-valuation query raised by the buyer's solicitor to their lender natwest. Not sure how long these are taking as I am seemingly the only person going through this on the MSE forum

My broker set a false expectation telling me I would hear within 10 days; found the forum as starting to worry but now I see a realistic timeline is closer to 4 - 6 weeks
    Timeline so far
FTB; HTB with 75% LTV through Broker
    AIP 09/09
    Full Application 25/09
    Valuation Fee taken  30/09
Im close with the development manager and as of today valuation still not booked
  • We had our mortgage offer through today almost exactly 4 weeks! 🙌
  • Received our mortgage offer on Friday. Applied on 4/9. This was after our DIP was referred due to an issue with address and our broker applying in my maiden name not married name which likely caused the address issue and caused no end of stress. I’ll also add all my statements and ID was in my married name 🤷🏻‍♀️
