Ooops only got £62.37 left and 15 days to go.

If I was still at school (60yrs ago) I think the phrase would be 'MUST TRY HARDER'
  • Did the Lidl shop yesterday which qualified for £2 voucher - hadn't realised they need to be spent within 7 days so only just made use - need to remember as have now got £10 voucher to use.

Spent £101.68, but that included some off list items - Dishwasher cleaner (2) for £3.99 and a vegan Wellington £2.99 which I love and is good to have for a lazy day as only need to do spuds on the side.
Still need to get loo roll as they only had big bags of expensive, but going to try and get out of my funk and make bread again this week - have plenty of milk etc.

    £429/£650 - 64%

I haven't been good at all last month!! Just been paid Friday. Lucky I've got a freezer full of food and store full of tins etc.

Havent done my main shop as dont really need anything yet. Just fresh fruit and veg milk and bread. Picked up a loaf at lidis and a new drill as my other one is dieing!! also a dreaml for my dog nails. That was £64.
Will need more juice and ceral next couple of weeks.

Lucky I work in retail so I get some good items free from work or at a bargain price!! I must make a list of what I've got in my freezers!!
Had to get my riding boot repaired so that's £30 that I wasnt planning on using

I must stop comfort eating doesn't help my pocket or waist line!! Havent been easy since losing my horse and my spaniel in March!!
My normal burget for food is £100. As theres only me and my dog who is raw fed. Normal cost around £50 every other month.

Did a top up shop at M*rks today on way home from my walk. Bought milk, yoghurt, radishes, lettuce, frozen sweetcorn and red cabbage all on list and managed to snabble double quantities of yoghurt with y/s price so spent £7.54 which means my new total to last me the rest of the month is £78.42/£190.

I've added £90 to my total, which is a bit of a guess, but it consists of £60-odd spent at the market, on meat, fish, cheese, fruit & veg,  £7 at the bakery and £23 for a sack of oats ordered online. It's about right & that will have to do this week - wore myself out building shelves for my greenhouse, to get tender plants undercover before the first frosts! As some of them are edible - chillis, peppers & a few herbs, plus my daughter's cherished lemon tree, pomegranates & date palm - I see the time spent as an investment. Sort of...
