    Dear all,
Many thanks for this invaluable info. Am just about to put some ISA £ into Legal & General Global Technology Index Trust I Class Accumulation. This looks really quite good. Can see from Morning Star that its Global Category Percent Rank out of 1,000 Funds is 25, so very good. The holdings, sectors, region details look all what I'm after. Just wondered if there were any final tips for alternatives higher up on this ranking.
    Thanks in advance.
Good choice of fund, however surprisingly it hasn't done as well as other tech funds, given they hold alot of apple and microsoft. Maybe its due to being a passive fund, who knows.  They were on my initial short list but decided to go elsewhere

    Good luck
    Hi,
Just wondered, which tech funds were you referring to that had better performed?
    Many thanks.

I use Polar capital Tech trust myself as I felt my satellite funds need active management rather than passive which I left for my cheap index global tracker

I tried to time the market with SMT, but sadly it never came to fruition, although not a tech trust persay, more an active all round fund but holds a boat load of Tesla.

the legal and General Tech fund is not bad, but personal preference. Quite heavy in Apple and Microsoft which I wouldn't have minded but I could only buy one fund so I chose Polar.

Is this the one you're referring to?

Is there an accumulation version of this fund?
    Thanks

ALLIANZ TECHNOLOGY TRUST PLC (ATT)  is an alternative.  Good spread of investments where market cap isn't the main criteria. Better performer over past 5 years than SMT.

+1 for Allianz, sadly not available on AJ bell. But a good shout and is on my shortlist of IT's.
